ABOUT OUR CLUB

The Northern Districts Cricket Club - The Northern Jets, was formed in 1997 as the amalgamation of Salisbury District and Elizabeth District Cricket Clubs.
Northern Disctricts Cricket Club is the Premier Cricket Club servicing players in Adelaide’s northern suburbs and Barossa region to advance on the cricket pathway towards State and National selection.
The Club is made up of 10 different teams, 4 Senior Mens, 2 Womens and 4 Juniors. From these, Premier Cricket Carnival teams such as the U18 Shield and Ray Sutton Shield teams are selected.
WOMENS CRICKET VISION & JUNIOR ACADEMY
At the Northern Jets we strive to develop women’s cricket by providing clear pathways for girls and women from junior participation through to elite competition.
Enjoy developing your cricket skills in a supportive, friendly and competitive environment.
Come along to our trials, all Juniors and Seniors are welcome to trial!
Additionally, Juniors are welcome to register for our "Darcie Brown-Tegan McPharlin" Academy.
The Academy is for 10 to 14 year olds and will be held over 10 sessions which are currently planned for October 12th & 26th, November 9th & 23rd, February 8th & 22nd, and March 8th. Note that a couple of Games will be scheduled between these sessions.
The Northern Jets are proud to have a Junior Girls Academy named after two very successful players in Darcie and Tegan! Join us as we continue to develop our Women’s Program.
2026/2027 Pre Season Training Nights: Monday 7th, Monday 14th, Monday 21st September from 5:30pm - 7:00pm and held at
The Harris Head Big Shed ( a multi-sport and indoor cricket facility at Trinity College Gawler Campus, Alexander Avenue, Evanston South.
2026/2027 In Season Training Nights: Wednesdays 5:30pm - 7:30pm at the Salisbury Oval and in our state of the art Indoor Training Facility.
2026/2027 In Season Games are played as T20 and One Day formats.
